We place responsibility on clients to take control of their lives and shape their
future. We do this by working in partnership with the client, their key supports and
key stakeholders such as Corrections, to prepare them for life in the community.
...
we do not babysit our clients
...
We help create good lives
...
We work with people and help motivate them to reintegrate
with society. This focus on behaviour change also means that
we do not provide passive services like “tea and table tennis”
because that does not change lives, behaviour or people.
...
we are not a soft option
.
We work hard to motivate clients and remind them of the alternative if they
don’t engage with our services when the Courts or Parole Board has
mandated them. We have an obligation to keep them and the community safe
by ensuring they abide by these conditions, and we make this clear.
